【動物專訊】近年，身兼香港野豬關注組幹事的「18區動保專員」黃豪賢組織義工到郊區搜索毒餌、捕獸器等，去年11月在金山郊野公園撿到「鴨皮爆炸品」的正是他們這群義工。他表示，義工會定時到多流浪狗或野豬出沒的地方搜索，撿走可疑的物質，保護附近一帶的動物，他們行動的地方包括金山、獅子山郊野公園等。

「荒山野嶺很多動物陷阱，如捕獸籠、俗稱『食人花』的捕獸器還有捕獸索等。」黃豪賢說，漁護處稱捕獸器人道，根本沒預計到「受害動物」如狗的反應，狗受驚會掙扎，捕獸索會愈纏愈緊，拑著牠們的手腳，阻礙血液流通，如扯傷了更會失血，甚至會截斷，今次揪筋仔受傷也可能是這情況，他補充：「動物即使倖存，可能已失覓食能力，這樣是虐待。」
黃豪賢指，漁護署曾承認會以捕獸困器捉動物，他跟動物義工多次抗議、交涉，要求漁護署取締所有捕獸器均不得要領，對於漁護署將捕獸器形容為「人道」，黃豪賢怒斥沒有捕獸器是不殘忍的，要是尊重生命根本不應用這些方法捕捉。
